    • Changes in speech or language after a stroke or brain injury

  • Yes. For conditions like Parkinson’s disease, ALS, or MS, therapy focuses on maintaining communication and swallowing function for as long as possible. We’ll also explore tools and strategies—like voice amplifiers, pacing techniques, or AAC (augmentative and alternative communication)—to help you stay connected and empowered as your needs evolve.

  • Yes! Secure teletherapy is available for clients located in California, Colorado, North Carolina, Oregon, and Virginia. All you need is a computer, tablet, or phone that can support use of Zoom. Virtual sessions are just as personal and effective as in-person care—offering flexibility, comfort, and access from home.

  • No, you typically don’t need a doctor’s referral to begin therapy. Since this practice is private pay and does not bill insurance directly, you can start services without a prescription or referral.

However, if you plan to submit a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance, your provider may require a referral or a diagnosis code from your physician. It’s a good idea to check your plan’s out-of-network speech therapy policies before starting.

  • Every person’s journey is unique. Some goals can be met in a few sessions; others require ongoing support. Together, we’ll establish a plan that aligns with your priorities, progress, and pace.
